Homework Assignments
March 26- April 2, 2014
Reading: Read every night for 20 mins. Read memory, dolch and pattern words as part of your daily reading. Do two reading journal entries per week. Read the passages sent as part of your daily reading.
Writing: Write three sentences (telling, asking and exciting) for each word. Underline the verb and circle the nouns and proper nouns.
Math: Do math assignments on addition and subtraction with regrouping.
Memory Words
1st grade: * The memory words are the same as the pattern words.
2nd grade: bought brought caught taught thought straight listen buy bring catch teach think
Pattern Words
1st grade: didn't hasn't isn't aren't haven't wasn't weren't couldn't wouldn't can't don't won't
2nd grade: tight, fight, sigh thigh hustle bustle castle muscle corpuscle
Dolch Words
1st & 2nd grade: Read the entire list.
