Students will continue to work on types of pronouns. The vocabulary test is Friday. We will read chapters 2-6.
7th grades
We will continue working on clauses and phrases. We will read chapters 3-6 of Hunger games. Vocabulary test will be Friday.
In language arts we are working on the 8 parts of speech. Your child has a project that is due Tuesday, August 27. We will start reading the novel 5000 miles to freedom. It is a story about a family's flight from slavery.
In social studies we will study government, culture, continuity and change. Your child has a project due on August 27th. They are to create a map of an imaginary place. They were given a rubric Thursday.
