This Week in Science and Math!
8th Grade Math
We are finishing up scientific method work this week. We will have homework due friday and a quiz.
8th Grade Science
We are finishing a section on energy and the kids have a test they will be re-doing where they write a reflection on the questions they missed and why they missed them. We will be starting a new topic on weds.
HS Math
We are going over slope and functions. I will be passing out homework due fri. and there will be a quiz on fri as well.
HS Science
We are working on waves. There are activities and notes, but we will quiz on Friday over mechanical waves.

We are moving straight into Waves this week! FUN! There will be test reflections due on Friday.

Negative Exponents and Scientific Notation Quiz on Friday! Integer tutorial after school at 4:00 to 5:00!
8th Science:
We are starting a review of Force, Mass, and Motion. We have a Quiz on Weds. and will be doing nothing but review until our QBA next Friday!
HS Math:
We are working on the Elimination Method for solving systems of equations and learning how to graph properly! Quiz Friday!
HS Science:
We are finishing up Energy and will be moving on to Waves on Friday. Quiz on Thursday!
8th Math:

-We are moving into exponents. The students just took a test on geometry and so please check their infinite campus for that grade. They may make corrections and explain them for half-credit back on each missed question. They will have a packet of homework due Friday.
8th Science
-We are working on heat and energy. The students will be taking quizzes on both this week. Their homework will be to find how what we are learning is related to things they see at home or online or tv. We call it pokemon go and learn!
HS Math
