Paramotoring also known as Power Paragliding is becoming the most rapidly form of aviation. This is because the low cost of power paragliding as a sport. It is extremely safe and good fun. It allows everyone to fly without license at a low cost as compared to other aircraft. It consists of two parts; paramotor which include propeller, the airframe, the motor, and the paraglider part. For trikes, it may include the three wheeled cart where the pilot can sit and rest his feet for the entire flight.

Powered Paragliding

The Difference between power paragliding and paragliding is the presence of engine to help you fly higher in the sky. You should consider the weather as well with paragliding. The powered paragliding on the other hand helps you launch even when the wind speed isn’t high. Paraglider somewhat resemble rectangular skydiving parachutes. Modern parachutes are designed to keep you aloft for extended climbing, sinking, soaring with the currents of the air.

People new to the sport often assume paragliders must be very safe as they look like parachutes, but this is false assumption. Paragliders are prone to collapse in strong as well as light turbulence. That’s why they carry a reserve parachute and wear large airbags as a large resort when collapsing low to the ground.

Paramotors

Paramotors are the most convenient, affordable, and easy to fly aircraft available   today. No other aircrafts are there that lets you skim the ground safely. Whether you are launching in sand and snow, you can get airborne in a few steps. Powered paragliding is limited to relatively smooth air and has a top speed of 35 mph. It is not made for the long distance flights as compared to other aircrafts.

Engines used in Paramotors are exclusively two stroke types, between 80cc and 300cc that burn oil and mixed gasoline. These engines are favored for their high output power and light weight and use approximately 3 liters of fuel per hour depending on paraglider efficiency, weight of motor plus pilot and conditions.

Where to fly Paramotor?

The main drawback of all powered flying is the noise pollution, not so much for your ears, but for the neighbours. That’s why Paramotors should operate in diluted format throughout the country and avoid overcrowded.

The design of these aircraft actually varies. You can use lightweight paramotors and it can feel you like you are paragliding with no engine.  There are others with a seat and wheels that make you feel like you are flying in an armchair. There is availability of other designs those have two seats instead of one so you can bring a companion with you.

Ultralight Gliders

If you want to do or looking for a more advanced fly, then you can try Ultralight gliding. These airplanes have basic control systems. When you need a powered airplane, Ultralight Gliders are there for you. These are very expensive gliders and provide greater support.

Paragliding is one of the most affordable forms of flight. It is perfect for those who can’t buy a plane. You have to track down local professional paragliding school if you ever dreamt of soaring like an eagle. You have to get some expert instruction, gear up and go for it.

The best part about this aircraft is that it has a low center of gravity which means you will not feel heavy while flying in the air. And if you want to read academized review and go anywhere with your powered paraglider then all you need to do is just sit back and relax on the seat which makes it very comfortable for you!
