Thank you for coming to the Open House on Thursday! We have had a great three weeks of school! The kids are really starting to learn the routines and the expectations in kindergarten! You received a weekly progress report in your child’s folder on Friday. Please sign it and return it on Tuesday.

You received a Scholastic book order form this past Monday. I will order the books on Tuesday, instead of Monday. Please turn in orders by 5:00PM on Tuesday. You may also send the orders with a check in your child’s folder on Tuesday.

We have a 2:00 early dismissal on Wednesday, September 9th. It is called Spirit Day. The students are allowed to wear their gold OLLIS spirit shirt with jeans, jean shorts, blue uniform shorts, or blue uniform pants. Spirit Day is also “Giving Day”, please send in a can food item to donate to the Food Bank. There will be a blue Food Bank barrel in the hallway outside the kindergarten rooms. We have a friendly competition to see which grade can bring in the most food items.
