SAVE THE DATE- Monday, May 23 at 12:00 - Kindergarten Celebration, the kids will sing a few songs and they will receive a certificate for completing kindergarten. Our class will be with Mrs. Leonard /Mrs. Gilmore’s class. Please put this date on your calendars.

Tuesday, March 22- The taping of our class saying the Pledge of Allegiance will be shown on KOMU in the morning! Don’t forget to watch! On the KOMU, The Daily Pledge web page, it says they will air this segment during the last minute of KOMU 8 News Today. You will also be able to see it on KOMU web page. Thursday, March 24 Letter People Day- The kids will parade around to different classes to share the Letter People outfits! The older kids always enjoy seeing the kindergartners dressed up as Letter People.

 

Friday, March 25- Good Friday- No School

 

Monday, March 28- Friday, April 1st- No School- Spring Break!

 

 

 

Please continue praying for Rhyan, her family and the medical team. Please say some extra prayers for a speedy recovery for Rhyan. Rhyan has been fighting a couple of infections and she is finishing her 6th round of chemo in New York. Jen posted an update on FB and Caring Bridges. I know they really miss being home.

 

Please double check your child's fleece to make sure they do not have another child's fleece.  Thank you!

We are finished with the letter homework! It sounds like most families are already reading daily, but if not, please try to find the time to read at least 5 to 10 minutes a day.

 

Religion- Lent and Stations of the Cross

 

Writing daily- working on writing a story with a beginning, middle and end.

Wednesday- Art

 

Thursday- Computer and counselor 

 

Friday- Music and library, we will go to the Stations of the Cross (8th graders will be acting out the stations) I will not send home progress reports this week. I will be working on grade cards.
