Scholastic Book Orders: Our class code is QJXFQ

Homework Policy:

Now that students have gotten the hang of our homework schedule, you will see a grade at the top of the assignment. If homework is late, students will receive a -5 per day.  Helping children with their homework is fine, but I expect homework to be their own work. I use the homework to see what students are struggling with. Thank you!

Sports Schedule (Or another activity): I told the children that I would try to make it to one of their games, contests, etc. by the end of the year. I would love to see them in all that they do outside of the classroom! If your child is interested, please send them to school with a schedule of an event to attend. Thank you! :)

 
PEANUT-AWARE: We will have a mid-morning snack break each day. I ask that families choose healthy snacks that will fuel our bodies and help our brains focus. Please be reminded that we are a peanut allergy aware classroom, so peanut products are not allowed.



AGENDAS: Please be sure to check your child's agenda each night and sign off on it and also feel free to write me any comments that you may have. I do check them.

IMPORTANT DATES: 

 The first Friday of each month is Footloose Friday!  All students can let their feet loose by showing off their coolest and favorite shoes.  Footloose Friday, an event sponsored by the Student Council, is a day when students in Grades K – 8 can participate by wearing any (appropriate*) shoes and crazy socks of their choice.  Join in on all the fun! (*no flip flops, crocs or slides).
