This week the 6th graders will take a religion quiz on Chapter 7, (Ordinary Time) that is scheduled for Monday. This date may change because of Trunk or Treat. Also my young sixth grade scholars will be receiving a science quiz on vertebrates.(their characteristics) It will  be a multiple choice quiz. Rest assured , we will review for the quiz. Last Friday , we took a Social Studies Quiz on Assyria and Babylon. The class as a whole didn't do well despite our 2 days of review. I think I'm going to have to give smaller quizzes with less questions more frequently. They got intimidated by the five page quiz. Fortunately, I have an extra credit assignment for them to do to boost up their grades. It will be handed out on Monday. It MUST be completed and returned by Tuesday in order to receive the extra credit.We had school and class pictures last week as well. Please remember to have your students bring in non-perishable foods for those who are less fortunate as we. I always lead by example, so expect me to be the first on to bring in the food on Monday.
