Cadets and Parents,

It's crazy to say it, but this week if the last week of the marking period and midterm exams which means we are halfway through the semester! This post is long, but has a lot of important information! Here we go....

ANY grade that is listed as an MI must be taken care of by THIS WEDNESDAY 3/21 (the end of MP3). There are many cadets that are missing things due to absences and/or that have not corrected or completed their U1L1 test corrections. As a reminder, only assignments listed as UG are currently being graded. If it is listed as MI, it's missing and I need it if you would like credit. I am still in the process of grading the U1L2 tests and presentations. I hope to have those in by this afternoon. Please continue to check (and double check) HAC regularly this week to be sure you have everything in you need! SEE ME ASAP WITH ANY QUESTIONS!

On Wednesday, we will take a "quest" covering the new vocabulary words from last Friday and grammar taught in chapter U1L2. This will be our last grade of the marking period. I am available for tutoring today (until 3:15) and Wednesday. I am also available during Study Hall (4th pd).

Midterm Exams will be on Thursday and Friday of this week. Blocks 5 and 6 will be on Friday. The BEST way to study is by utilizing the e-textbook activities and flashcards (especially from the first two chapters). In class on Wednesday, you will be able to go back and look at all of your previous tests to review them. The midterm exam will cover: Leccion Preliminar, Unidad 1, Leccion 1, Unidad 1, Leccion 2 and Unidad 1 Leccion 2.5. There will not be anything dealing with the map. The exam consists of 95 multiple choice questions and one short answer questions (writing a paragraph describing yourself and a friend). As a reminder, the MTE is worth 10% of your final grade and if you earn an A in both MPs and an A on the MTE you are exempt from the FE.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Hopefully the weather cooperates this week, but stay tuned as we may need to adjust if not. Where are you, Spring?!?!

Hope everyone has a great week! Study hard for those Midterms!

Sra
