On Thursday, Nov 6th our fantastic RRLA Guitar Club and 15 4th and 5th grade singers performed at the Elementary Music festival. We contributed two songs and got the chance to play on a big and beautiful stage at Rainey McCuller's School of the Arts along with many other elementary schools.
Our Roadrunners were the only school who included guitar, and they did wonderfully! Everyone I spoke to was very happy with our performance and I am especially proud how well they behaved and focused! Everyone did their best the kids looked very professional walking on and off stage, bowing, and transitioning back to their seats.
They acted like true leaders and I am very proud of them!
Now we get some time off for Christmas and then we will hopefully be back on stage in Spring.
