Head Basketball and Volleyball Coach
Parents:
Its such an honor to be apart of the education field and I'm so excited to begin my 8th year of my remarkable journey as a Physical Education Teacher. Im grateful, blessed, and optimistic in working with your children this year. There is so much excitement within the physical department and we want your children to master the standards along with getting enjoyment out of the activities. Our goal is to increase the social, cognitive and physchomotor domains of this content area. Physical education is so important to these children and my goal is to ensure that they are getting the very best out of the curriculum. The program will consist more of integration of different subject matter within the program. This will allow your children to recieve extentions of learning from the academic classrooms.
Students will also be tested on a National testing system, "Fitnessgram". This test encompasses basically the five components of fitness.
1. Flexibility 2. Body Composition 3. Cardiovascular Endurance 4. Muscular Strength
5. Muscular Endurance
Students will also be tested on SGM Student growth measures
Team sport Activities include:
Basketball, Whiffleball, ultimate frisbee, handball, fitness, football, soccer, badminton, cooperative games, and fitnessgram
Whats my teaching philosophy: Everyone is capable of learning. When students realize that you care about them, they will go to extreme limits to put more into the learning process to achieve their highest potential.
