Just wanted to remind everyone that news sessions will begin on Monday with our Cabinet. You should always be watching the news, with a special interest in your region. Don't forget your team roles, and if you haven't come up with them, do so! Your presentations should be set to last 20 minutes or so, with each member up for 3-5. You may use any resources you wish, and may focus on anything relevant to what's happening in your part of the world.

I was just watching a report on Fukushima- perfect example for East Asia.

Where should you get this from? A few suggestions...

BBC World News (I watch the 5:30 version)

PRI Radio on 820 AM is excellent, especially "The World" between 3 and 4. Website is also excellent.

"The Week" magazine is great, and I'll be keeping copies in the room.

CNN, Al Jazeera - good news sites from very different sources.

BBC website has a great section on regions of the world, especially the free app.

Our library website has local newspapers.

If anyone else gets news from anywhere great, please post as a response to this blog. The more we know, the better off we'll be.
