Reading:
You need to have your child do 2 reading journal entries. Remember it is important to read with your child every night. While reading with your child, remember to ask comprehension questions along the way.
Also, please have your child practice reading the first 50 sight words, which are half are listed below, and you can look on my school notes page for the other half.
Math:
The math homework for this week will be working more so with addition and subtraction. They will also be practicing days of the week. On the page that has the days of the week, have your child describe what happened in each picture. Then turn it over and answer the question on the back.
Language:
Your child will need to create 10 sentences using the first 50 sight words and the words they should be practicing reading from Superkids (the words are on the back of this paper). All of the Superkids words contain letters and sounds that we have practiced in class. Please encourage your student to make the sentences with their own ideas.
