Wednesday is Santa's Store! The Gym will be transformed into a Winter Wonderland Christmas Store! Children can shop for Christmas gifts for their family. Please remind the children that the Santa Store is for purchasing Christmas gifts for others. We hope to keep the spirit of giving at the forefront of the event!
There will be a photo station for a small fee (we have a special guest again this year!)
Attached is a list to help your child make some shopping decisions. Younger grades shop at the store with the help of a “Big Buddy”.
Most items are priced in the $1 to $3 range, with a few items up to $5.
Please remember to send your children with SMALL BILLS only (NO $20’s please)! We cannot accept checks – please do not send them. Send the money in a zip-lock baggie with your child’s name and homeroom on it.
Please contact Sue Foxon at [email protected] or Kellie Bryda at [email protected] if you have any questions. Thank you.ere...
It was so great getting back into the swing of things here and school!
We began our day with an advent assembly
Next we focused on Indigenous Tribes in RI in Social Studies. We followed this with beginning our unit in Christmas Around the World and with our narrative writing piece.
After lunch we focused on proper and common nouns, rounding and subtraction in math, advent in religion and ended the day with the skeletal system!
Happy Monday!

Hi families!
Today we began our day with rounding. I know this is a skill that can be very tricky for students but we are making progress!
We are identifying our topic for our next narrative writing piece today!
Students are continuing to work with their differentiated small groups in reading and are becoming stronger in their ability to read nonfiction text.
Students have their spelling test today.
In math we are working on subtraction with regrouping and estimating again. I am seeing a great deal of progress with students and their fast math : )
Then we are finishing the day with a review in religion and our FRIDAY SONG!
Happy weekend!
Dear Parents,
We have been spoiled the past few weeks with all the sunshine and warmer temperatures, but the weather has definitely turned more seasonal and a winter chill is in the air!
Please note that we plan to take your children outsidefor Recess and After Care as long as it is feasible, so remember to send your child to school with a coat or jacket, hat, gloves/mittens as needed (and boots if there is snow on the ground)
Thank you!
