Science 

This week we will be reviewing what we have learned in Geology so far: Layers of the Earth, minerals, types of rocks and the rock cycle.

 

Social Studies

We will be continuing with our unit on Economics. 

 

Announcements

Students were given progress reports on Friday that need to signed and returned. Students that need to make up work will need to stay after school between Monday and Thursday.

Science

This week we will discussing the rock cycle. This will combine what we have learned about rocks, weathering, erosion and deposition. 

 

Social Studies

We will continue discussing economics. We will be doing a concept map along with various vocabulary activities. Students should continue to practice the imports and exports rap.

 

Announcements: From January 30th til March we will be on block schedule. Students who need to do make up work or who need extra help need to stay after school on Wednesdays and/or Thursdays.

Science

This week we will be discussing Weathering and Erosion. 

Students were given a choice board assignment were they must complete 3 assignment from the sheet in a row. It will be due on Wednesday the 25th. It can be turned in early for bonus points.

 

Social Studies

This week we will start our unit on Economics. Students should continue to study government terms.
