This week we will finish our unit on blood spatter analysis. Monday and Tuesday we will finish our in class presentations. Wednesday we will conduct a lab on blood typing, Thursday the lab will address blood spatter and angle of impact.
This week we will finish the frst half of the Chemistry Unit on atomic structure and the periodic table. We will have a summative test on this material on Tuesday, December 10th. The Bohr model project was assigned Friday and is due Monday, December 16th. We will continue the second half of the Chemistry unit by studying, chemical bonds, ions and ionization energy and balancing simple chemical equations.
This week we will study blood spatter, and how it can help investigators determine the manner of death. We will also cover ballistic evidence and how it can be used to solve a crime. The blood spatter case project is due by midnight on Tuesday, December 3.
This week we will learn about the periodic table of the elements and how it organizes the elements by their chemical properties. We will study the structure of the atom, and learn to make a Bohr model to show atomic structure. We will have a quiz on Atomic Structure and the Periodic Table on Thursday, December 5.
