Reading: Read every night for 20 mins. Do two reading journal entries. Read memory, pattern, Dolch words daily. Read the book given fro extra reading on a daily basis.
Math: Do math assignments. 1st grade: Measurement 2nd grade: Word Problems
Writing: Write a story using as many pattern, Dolch and memory words. Circle the nouns, underline the verbs and put a box around the adjective.
Memory words: 1st grade: would could some one new were
2nd grade: knew know knee kneel climb thumb comb wrong wreck wrap write right.
Pattern Words: 1st grade: pain rain train boat coat eat heat seat deep keep sleep
2nd grade: knife knit knock knob knot wreath wreck wrist write wring gnat gnaw gnu gnome
Dolch Words: Read entire list.
