Homework Assignments

Reading: Read every night for 20 mins. Do two reading journal entries. Read pattern, Dolch and memory words as part of your daily reading. Read the books given.

Math: Do math assignments. 1st grade: Fish lengths and animal jumps
2nd grade: Stickers, number strings and story problems.

Writing: Write two sentences for each memory and pattern word. Then underline the verb and circle the noun.

Memory words: 1st grade: would could some one new were 2nd grade: knew know knee kneel climb thumb comb wrong wreck wrap write right

Pattern Words: 1st grade: pain rain train boat coat eat heat seat deep keep sleep 2nd grade: knife knot gnaw gnome wreath wreck

Dolch Words: 1st and 2nd grade: * Students should be reading all of the Dolch words by sight. Dolch words list should be read daily
