First, let me say that I am so glad that all of my students are safe and sound after Irma came and did her business. Now it is back to business as usual! With that being said, we are almost done with our first region! This week we will finish ethnic groups and religions of SW Asia and then head into the history portion of the standard. Next week my 3rd and 5th period classes will begin their "flipped classroom" assignments as we get into the Holocaust and creation of the state of Israel. I'm so excited and I hope you are too!

Hello! This week we are wrapping up the political and physical map portion of our SW Asia studies with a quiz. We will begin talking about what factors influence were people live and how they are spread out (population distribution). On Friday we will jump into a new standard and get "turnt up" with the introduction of our environmental issues of SW Asia rap entitled "Water So Scarce". Don't forget to pack some water and sunscreen, it's going to be a HOT week!
