Extension F:  Artificial Selection of the American Peach  Bottom right, p. 110.  TITLE & DATE.

After watching the video link for extension F, answer the following questions about peaches.

  •         What country do peaches originally come from?
  •         What are the differences between a wild peach and a peach grown on a farm by

    artificial selection?

  •         What do you call a peach with no fuzz?
  •         What percent of peaches in the USA are from artificial selection?

 

Please put Extensions G-J on page 112.   Design this page with the intentions of having four sections, one section for each extension.  Title & date each section.

 

Extension G:     Watch the entire video by Mark Drollinger and copy the Venn diagram.  Please add one example of each type of reproduction to the diagram.  Use the top left quadrant, p. 112.   TITLE & DATE.

 

Extension H:  Watch the entire video by Michael Flood and copy down advantages and disadvantages of asexual reproduction.  Use the top right quadrant, p. 112.   TITLE & DATE.

Extension I:  Click on the image found below in the BBC doc or on ASPEN and read then copy down notes on advantages of sexual reproduction. (Bottom left quadrant, p. 112). TITLE & DATE.

Extension J:  Watch the video by biol1003 and copy down notes on disadvantages of sexual reproduction.  Use the bottom right quadrant, p. 112).  TITLE & DATE.
