The extreme heat and the power outage messed things up a bit, but still a great first week of school! The new tech toys in the 1100 classrooms will probably continue to challenge me and the other teachers, but the kids are understanding and we take care of business one way or another. Should be another great year, with great kids! Hope everyone makes good use of the extra day off, whatever that means to each of us.
