Many kids aren't clear on the expectations for their homework in my classes. Here are some important guidelines:
DO:
Write in pen, not pencil – you’re a big kid now!
Turn in each assignment separately
Write your name and period in the upper right hand
Identify terms by page numbers
Have it all ready to hand in when you enter the classroom
Write in paragraphs of 3-6 sentences each
Capitalize proper nouns
DO NOT:
Use paper with the little cositas on the edges
Staple assignments together
Write so sloppily that I can’t read it easily
Write one-page long paragraphs
