Good classes & good kids = a good year! It doesn't matter that they're making all kinds of racket right outside my classroom, and it doesn't matter that some classes (TOK and IB Econ) are much bigger than they're supposed to be. Everybody's settling down to business and all classes are off to a good start.

For the juniors and the seniors, it's easier since we mostly all know one another pretty well. Expectations are already clear, everyone knows what they can get away with and what they can't, and the classroom vibe is cool. It's a little tougher for the sophies, who are still little kids in a way and new to the kind of tough love I throw at 'em. But they seem like a really good bunch, and are quickly figuring out how things work.

Plus, the Cavers actually win ball games - by a lot! - this year. Shaping up to be a great year overall!
