World Geography
1) Unit Exam—Wednesday, November 16
Review notes, vocabulary, homework, class work, quizzes and tests--Use the "Study Guide" that was passed out in class last week to help organize yourself for the exam.
7A Food Drive Challenge- In order to help Peer Leadership and create citizens active in our community, Team 7A will be having a contest to see which Social Studies class brings in the most food. Food will be collected during each Social Studies class, counted and then brought down to the main office collection table. The class with the most collected food will win a small prize!! The Food Drive will run from November 7 until November 18.
Please bring in non-perishable food. Please help your community.

2) Chapter 3 Test—Wednesday, November 9
3) Unit Exam—Tuesday, November 15
--Please bring in magazines for a class project if possible. We will be cutting them apart so please only send them in if you don’t need them back. Thank you!!

Mock Election
Next Monday, November 7th, OMS will hold a mock Presidential Election. All students will vote with their Social Studies classes.
In order to celebrate this great country and event, everyone is asked to wear red, white and blue! See you at the polls on Monday!

2) Chapter 3 TEST will has been moved to Wednesday, November 9--Review notes, vocabulary, homework & classwork.
3) The Unit 1 exam will be held on Tuesday, November 15. It will include Chapter 1, 2, and 3. Students can begin to prepare by organizing (and making sure they have) the vocabulary terms, quizzes/test, notes, homework, and classwork for each chapter.
