Welcome Back!!!
7A Student:
I am so excited to be your teacher this year. We are going to have a great year and learn so much about the world. I will be posting the homework for Geography class here as well as the dates of upcoming quizzes/tests and projects. This is a back-up measure to help you stay on track. You are still responsible for writing this information in your agenda during class time as it is always written on the board in class and part of your daily assignment.
7A Parent:
It is that time of the year again!! I know back to school can be hectic but I want to remind you that Back to School Night is Thursday, September 15, 6:30-8:00 in the evening. It is a great way to meet the teacher(s) your child we be with this year and find out what your child will be learning about as well as the expectations for your 7th grader. I am also attaching a copy of the syllabus for this year on the site. Your child should already have a copy since it was passed out and discussed during class today.

There may be times when the site is not updated do to uncontrollable circumstances. If your child was in class they are still responsible for the work.
World Geography class includes learning about current events!!! PLEASE talk with your child/children about what is going on in the world today. Discuss local, national, and world events. Also, share personal feelings about it, where it is happening (don't be afraid to reference a map or atlas), and the impact the event may have on the world. It is a great opportunity to learn from each other!!

Best Regards,
