Comic Strip:
- Pick a rock (igneous, metamorphic, or sedimentary)
- Using personification, create a story or comic strip telling the story of how your rock went through the geological processes in the rock cycle (weathering, erosion, melting, cooling, cementation, deposition, compaction, heat/pressure).
- Make sure you explain how your rock changes to EACH type of rock!
- Be creative!
Rubric: students will choose a career they are interested in and research how waves (mechanical and electromagnetic waves) are used in their career! Students must incorporate vocabulary such as waves, mechanical, transverse, longitudinal, sound, electromagnetic, light, amplitude, acoustics, sonar, echolocation, fiber optics, x-rays, radio waves. etc.
