Dear Parents/Guardians,

Welcome to 8th grade!  As you may know by now, I will be your childs 8th grade English/Language Arts teacher.  This will be my first year at Hope Middle School.  I love teaching and am excited about having the opportunity to be able to know you and your child.

During the school year I expect students to be on time and prepared every day.  Most students find my classes to be fun, although we do some hard work.

Below is a list of supplies that all students will need.  The only ones students definitely need the first week of school is pencil and paper.  The rest of the supplies you should have by September 3.

Notebook Checks

Notebook checks will count as class work.  This  will ensure that all students are completing  bell ringers, class work, taking notes, etc.
