Welcome to Pre-K 2!

I'm excited to begin the 2017-2018 school year with you and your children! Pre-K is a year of growing socially, emotionally, physically and academically.  The skills we practice daily in our Pre-K classroom are the building blocks for your child's future success in school and in life!  Your involvement, interest and enthusiasm will help make this a wonderful year for you and your child. Dear Pre-K Parents,

Please remember there is no school tomorrow, November 11th for Veterans Day.

Parent Teacher conferences are on Monday and Tuesday afternoon from 2:30-4:30.

Yesterday, I sent home a letter from the Archdiocese asking for permission to follow up with you regarding the kindergarten program and financial assistance. Please fill it out and return it to school on Monday morning.

Dear Pre-K Parents,

On Monday, October 31st, the children will participate in a Monster Mash for Halloween. This activity will take place in the school gym during gross motor. The children are allowed to wear a shirt with their favorite character, super hero, or Disney princess. In the afternoon, the children will have a Halloween party during snack time. If you would like to donate a special treat for the children to eat during snack, please let me know.

Dear Pre-K Parents,

We have completed our unit on, "All About Me." We recently began our new study on "Balls." Throughout this study the children will learn about different balls, how to play with balls (bounce, kick, throw, etc.) The children will learn the difference between solid and hallow balls. They will learn about the difference in sizes (small, medium, large, big, bigger, biggest, etc.)
If you would like to bring in some balls for the children to play with it will be greatly appreciated. If you bring in a ball, please write your child's name on it so it can be returned to your child at the end of our study.
Please remember school will be closed on Tuesday, November 8th and Friday, November 11th. November 18th is a noon dismissal, there will be no after school.
We will have parent teacher conferences on November 14th and 15th between the hours of 2:45-4:30. Attached you will find a paper, please select which day and time you will attending the conference.
