This week we are studying Georgia's role in the American Revolution. Students are learning about the events that led up to the American Revolution and the people of Georgia who played a key role in the major battles of the war. Students will complete a task performance project on Wednesday and Thursday of this week to demonstrate their knowledge.

Additionally, we will go back to the computer lab for more time with the Achieve 3000 Literacy Program. Students are reading Social Studies articles and practicing their reading skills. Students may practice at home as well!

Please continue to encourage your child to use Quizlet as a study tool. Also, please remember that I am available on Fridays after school to assist students with their Interactive Notebooks, assignments or make up work. Please contact me if you are interested in your student staying after school.
