Don’t Eat A Poinsettia

By Teresa Jennings

Don’t eat a poinsettia. If you do, you betta be ready to get a bellyache.

Don’t eat a poinsettia. Or you might regret a bad day when you get a tummy quake.

Sing twice: (group 1) Ay yi yi yi

(group 2) ay yi yi yi. (group 1) ay yi yi yi (group 2) ay yi yi yi.

All: Lovely red and green. Peaceful and serene. Looking is a treat. But it’s not to eat.

(Spoken as if chiding: No no no no!)

(Repeat above)

All: (Spoken): Don’t!

Thriller by Michael Jackson

It's close to midnight and something evil's lurking in the dark
Under the moonlight, you see a sight that almost stops your heart
You try to scream but terror takes the sound before you make it
You start to freeze as horror looks you right between the eyes
You're paralyzed

You hear the door slam and realize there's nowhere left to run
You feel the cold hand and wonder if you'll ever see the sun
You close your eyes and hope that this is just imagination, girl!
But all the while you hear the creature creeping up behind
You're out of time

'Cause this is thriller, thriller night
There ain't no second chance against the thing with forty eyes, girl
Thriller, thriller night
You're fighting for your life inside a killer, thriller tonight

(Voice begins speaking –start doing dance)
Darkness falls across the land
The midnight hour is close at hand
Creatures crawl in search of blood
To terrorize y'alls neighborhood

The foulest stench is in the air
The funk of forty thousand years
And grizzly ghouls from every tomb
Are closing in to seal your doom

And though you fight to stay alive
Your body starts to shiver
For no mere mortal can resist
The evil of the thriller.

(Repeat dance from beginning to end of song)

'Cause this is thriller, thriller night
And no one's gonna save you from the beast about strike
You know it's thriller, thriller night
You're fighting for your life inside a killer, thriller tonight

My Vampire Buddies

Teresa Jennings

In the twilight, when the sung goes sneakin’ away, and the moon starts comin’ to play, better find your lucky star.

In the twilight, when the bats start flappin’ around, and you hear that twilighty sound, better watch your jugular (rhymes with star)

I don’t have to worry when I go outside at night cause’ I have some friends who follow me. They seem to be all right.

They are my vampires. They are my buddies. They are my vampire buddies. They are my vampires. They are my buddies. They are my vampire buddies. And they always have my back.

In the twilight, when the wind starts whippin’ around, better keep your feet on the ground, and beware the twilight zone.

In the twilight, with the shadows startin’ to dwell, and you feel that twilighty spell, cover up your collarbone.

When you see my vampire buddies standing in some light, you might think they’re kinda weird, but I feel certain they’re all right.

(Back to chorus: They are my vampires….)

Yes, my back. Not my neck. They wouldn’t do that. ‘Cause their my friends. I’m pretty sure. They said they liked me. Ouch.
