Dear Parents,

I would like to congratulate you on having such wonderful children. It has been a great

pleasure to work with your children. For the next few weeks, we will be learning about "All

About Me/Welcome to Prekindergarten". Students will be able to identify body parts, routines at

home before school, siblings, school routines, letters in their names and other things. I

encourage you to ask your children to identify the letters in their name and discuss their daily

routines at school.

Just a few reminders:

-Please label all of your child's belongings. This includes sweaters, shirts, blankets, etc.

-September 28th- No school ( Teacher Conference )

October 7th- No afterschool

Sincerely,
Ms. Torres

Dear Parents,

I would like to welcome you all to PreK-1. I am looking forward to spending the

school year 2016-2017 teaching your child the skills they will need to carry them to

Kindergarten. Working together with the parents is a great step in helping your child

grow socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually. To help your child transition, I

am asking for your help.

I will ask you to please send in a small crib sheet and small blanket. This will

be used during their nap time. In addition, a change of clothes will be needed in the

event that your child has an accident. Please place them in a bag that is labeled with

their name and class. Clothing such as sweaters, scarves, jackets, lunch boxes and

book bags should also be labeled.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at

[email protected] or 718-882-2203 ext. 23.

Sincerely,

Ms. Torres
