Dear Parents,
I would like to welcome you all to PreK-1. I am looking forward to spending the
school year 2016-2017 teaching your child the skills they will need to carry them to
Kindergarten. Working together with the parents is a great step in helping your child
grow socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually. To help your child transition, I
am asking for your help.
I will ask you to please send in a small crib sheet and small blanket. This will
be used during their nap time. In addition, a change of clothes will be needed in the
event that your child has an accident. Please place them in a bag that is labeled with
their name and class. Clothing such as sweaters, scarves, jackets, lunch boxes and
book bags should also be labeled.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at
[email protected] or 718-882-2203 ext. 23.
Sincerely,
Ms. Torres
