Dear Parents,
We have successfully finished our unit on Buildings. I would like
to thank you for your hard work in reinforcing the skills at home. For the next
few weeks, we will be learning about Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. I encourage
you to talk to your child about the steps they can take to help the earth. For example,
have them close the faucet while brushing their teeth to save water, turn off lights when not
in the room to save energy, etc. These skills will allow your child to become aware of their
environment and how they affect it.
A few reminders:
Parent surveys are due by March 31st
March 17th- No school
Parent connection: If you would like to do any activities related with Reduce, Reuse
and Recycling, please let me know in order to set up the best time.
Sincerely,
Ms. Torres
