Good morning everyone!!
I have decided to create a new website for my Choir and Theatre Arts Class instead of using schoolnotes - I know I have mentioned before that schoolnotes and I do not get along very well.
When I have new information to send out to you, I will post it on my WEEBLY site, which is included in this blog entry. I will send a notification via schoolnotes telling you that I have updated the Weebly account since you have all signed up for my account on this schoolnotes page!
Feel free to check it out! I already have the dates up for spring performances. The singers will be getting this next week on paper to bring home as well. :) STAY WARM!
Please take a look at the Music Page on the DMA website.... I have put up recordings for Pie Jesu and the first half of Somewhere Over the Rainbow. PLEASE listen to and master Pie Jesu since we are performing it on January 30!!!!
I have uploaded the project for History of Pop Music in case you lost your physical copy. It is under files. I am sending out e-mails this morning to those of you who are EXEMPT from the final. If you do NOT receive an e-mail from me this morning, you ARE doing the final project!
Please check your grades and let me know if you have any questions ASAP! They are all updated.
Hi AGAIN, I am so sorry. Kendra e-mailed me just now saying she meant to say 7:20pm for performance time, NOT 7:40pm.
I am so sorry! I told her I had just e-mailed all of you with the new time. So, here is the official time calendar you need to know:
January 30
Call time: 6:45pm
Performance time: 7:20pm
The Atrium at the Community Education Building, 1200 N. French Street -There is a parking garage beneath the building. Parking is free.
You will be done by 7:30-7:40pm, so if you are not driving yourself, your ride (parents, carpool, friends, etc.) should just stay because you will only need to be there for the 10 minute performance! There will be plenty to look at in the education center, so please invite family to come and admire all of the arts in charter schools in DE. Four other charter schools will be performing before us!
Also, Kendra needs to know if any parents are willing to make a baked good! So please let me know TOMORROW (1/9/15) if you could do that for this event!
