Hello everyone!!
Hope you all had a wonderful winter break and holiday season. Just wanted to update you on the performance on Friday, January 30. We will be performing at the 2nd Annual Charter School Art Show. The event is from 6-8pm on January 30 at The Atrium at the Community Education Building in Wilmington.
YOUR CALL TIME IS 6:00PM. This being said, I will not be providing a bus for this event, so you are responsible for your ride there and back. It is my understanding that we will be performing at 6:30pm and parents are welcome to attend and view the art work/performances!!! The event is 6-8pm. We should be done by 6:45pm, 7 at the latest. So, if your child is not driving to the event on their own, please feel free to park and stay to watch the performance and view the other arts, and then you may stay for the entirety of the event, or you are free to leave!
The address for this event is 1200 N. French Street, Wilmington, DE. There is a parking garage attached beneath the building. Parking is free.
There will also be a bake sale hosted at this event. Kendra has asked me if I have any parent/volunteers that would like to make something for this bake sale. So, please let me know if you are interested in that ASAP!
I need to know of any conflicts for this performance by Friday 1/9/15! Come Monday, we will be back to work with NEW music for our spring concert! I am waiting on the final word, but most likely we will have our very own Spring Concert on May 28 @ 6:30pm. This will be the biggest grade of the spring semester. I am also working on a few other performances for the spring. I will have those dates as well as other dates that have been set for the spring to you by the start of the new semester at the end of January!

Hello! Hope you all had a wonderful winter break and holiday season. Just wanted to remind you that beginning Monday, we will be working during class on your in-class presentations. Presentations as of now will be Thursday and Friday (1/8 and 1/9). The assignment has been posted on here, as well as handed out to you on Friday before break.
I know everyone wants to sleep until noon and relax for all of time, but come Monday, it is back to work! We are just about done this semester, so let's get through it with a strong and positive attitude! :) We're almost half way done the school year!
Hello!!! A new performance coming up has been added to our calendar.
Kendra, who organized the entertainment for the IDEA awards in the beginning of the year has contacted me. The last week in January is National School Choice Week. They will be hosting a variety of events during the week to get the word out about school choice. On that Friday (January 30), they will be hosting their 2nd Annual Charter School Art Show at the Community Education Building in Downtown Wilmington from 6-8pm.
We have been asked to sing!! I have asked Kendra for more specific times for this performance. I have already received 1 conflict, if you have a conflict, let me know ASAP please. This will be another performance grade for this semester!!
I have uploaded the files for the in-class presentation which will happen the week we get back from break, as well as the Final assignment for this class - if you need to take the final.
To clarify: You need to take the final if you did not get an A in Marking Period 1 and 2 and got an A on the midterm.
I will not be checking e-mail over break. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask! Have a wonderful holiday break!!
