Please study vocabulary words and math facts with your child every night. Remember to fill out the reading log on the back of the vocabulary sheet and turn in on Friday. Achieve 3000 articles can be used for the reading log. Students need to have a Lexile of 520 to pass with Developing for the Georgia Milestones, check ClassDojo and message me on there if you would like an update of your child's scores. I sent them home before Christmas, but would be more than happy to send them again if needed. Vocabulary, grammar, reading, and a social studies test over the British Colonies will be this Friday. Check Dojo and RED folders every day.

We are back to a normal schedule this week. We will have regular reading, vocabulary, and grammar tests this Friday. Please study every night and complete reading logs on the back of the vocabulary sheets. We are learning about British colonies over the next few weeks, please study the study guide with your child. I hope you had a wonderful break! School resumes Wednesday, January 9th. This week we will complete our unit on Wonder. We will watch the movie when we finish the book. We will continue QBA testing over the next few weeks for science and social studies. Next week we will resume normal schedules and will have regular reading tests. Check Class Dojo every day and homework folders. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
Parents - Due to QBA testing, we will not do our regular weekly tests in reading/language arts, therefore there is not a reading log nor vocabulary sheet for this week or next week. Please continue working with your child on Achieve 3000 at home. Every child should be completing two activities a week, with a score of 75 or higher. We will be doing some holiday crafts over the next two weeks. I will let you know if I need any materials brought in. We will have Polar Express/Pajama Day next Friday, December 21st.
