Week of April 14 -18

This week we will begin CRCT Testing. Reading will be administered tomorrow.

ELA - Wednesday, Math - Thursday, Friday/Monday - Make up. The following week we will complete Science and Social Studies. Science -  Tuesday, and Social Studies - Wednesday. Make up Day - Thursday

We will review, drill, and practice to ensure that our students will have  the preparation to exceed or met the 6th grade standards. Please ensure that or child is reviewing the notes and study guide given to continue to prepare for CRCT testing.

Homework:

Monday: Study for CRCT testing/Create ABC Vocabulary Book

Tuesday: Study for CRCT testing/Finish  ABC Vocabulary Book

Wednesday: Study for CRCT Testing/Finish ABC Vocabulary Book

Mathematics

Week of March 24 - March 28

Hello Parents and Students,

We will be began Mock CRCT Testing this week (Mon. - Thurs.). The Mock testing prepares our students for the real test. We are also reviewing for the CRCT testing that will begin April 15. Math Tutorial has been canceled this week.

We will be sending home a CRCT Review Packet home over Spring Break. Please make sure child completes the packets to prepare for the CRCT. Grades will be given. No exceptions!

Wednesday: Solving two-step equations

Thursday: Writing expressions

Week of March 17 - 21

Hello Parents and Students,

We are wrapping up Unit 7 (Opposites). We have also began CRCT review  in class. Students will be given Spring Break Packets to review and practice over the break. We are reaching for every student to reach mastery. Please ensure that your child is practicing skills taught for accuracy. Tutroing will be Tuesday and Thursday from 4:05 to 5:30. Please be prompt when picking up your child, due to other obligations that we have.

Week of March 3- 7

This week we are still on Unit 6 (Statistics). We are using data to create different graphs to represent the range of data (stem and leaf plots, frequency table, histograms, dot plots, and box and whisker plots).
