Hello parents and students of the best middle school in the world. This week for home learning the students will be assigned to do a word wall. Students can turn in their work beginning on Thursday and it is due on Friday. After Friday it will recieve 10 points off for every day it is late after the due date. This week we will be working on a class project from Wednesday to Friday and the students will be able to work with a parnter to complete the work. In class the students will be practicing transformations of translations, reflections, and rotations. I will open the lesson with mini-lessons on rotation and dilations. Next week we will move on to parallel lines, perpendicular, and triangles which all use 180 degrees as a basic fact.
I will hold afterschool detention and behavior detention this week on Tuesday from 4-5 pm. Students who did not turn in their work will need to attend along with any students who may have earned a behavior detention.

Hello students and parents of the best middle school in the world. This week we are working on Transformation, Congruency, and Similarity. The students should understand that a transformation is a change in a position or change in size in a figure. The students are learning about transformations on a graph, and the general rule for translations. The students home learning is assigned on Monday and the students will be given directions on Tuesday and the work is due on Friday at the end of the week.
When students display misbehavior in class they will receive a slip to stay after school from 4-5pm. The parent should sign and return the next day and please prepare to pick up your child at 4:55 pm.
