Hello Parents and Students,
This week we are beginning the Function Domain which is 40% of the GMAS assessment. Students please come in ready to learn. This week students will take the Star Math Test in the computer lab. Students should be working on completing their Modules for G.6 G.7 G.8 and G.9 in USA Test Prep. The modules are due before we go on Thanksgiving Break. Students who have missing assignments will be assignment Friday Evening School after the Break. Students are now signed up for IXL and Go Math Activities and will be asked to complete assignments using there programs. IXL will be classwork, Go Math Homework. I will have tutoring this week from 4:05-4:50 pm. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at 706-569-3740 my planning period is from 3:05- 3:45 pm daily. Thank you.
Hello Parents and Students of the Best Middle School in the World.
Students who have not completed their Modules for G1.G.2 G.3 G.4 G.5 parents have been notified and students have until Tuesday to finish. After Tuesday the students will be assigned Friday Evening School. Any work that is not completed will be marked as missing in the grade book. The students have had one month and a week in a half to do their work. The students who have finished their work are working on G.6, G.7, G.8 and G. 9 this work is due for all student on November 27, 2018. This week we are working with Volume of Cones, Spheres, and Cylinders. Students should learn how to work the problems in real world context and using the figure with given measurements. I will not have after school tutoring this week due to a meeting. I will continue with tutoring next week. If you need to contact me please call the school office and leave me a message. Hello parents and students this week in math class the students will continue to work on Pythagorean theorem, relating problems to the real world and using distance to solve math problems in context. The students are also learning about the volume of two dimensional shapes such as cones, cylinders, and spheres. After school tutoring is for any student on team 8-1 who need additional help in math. Tutoring is on Tuesday from 4:05- 4:50 pm.

This week the students are taking the Pre- GMAS on October 17, 2018 which is Wednesday.
The students will be assessed over Unit 1 Transformation Congruence and Similarity Standards. Students are assigned Go Math and USA Test Prep Homework. All students are to have their parents sign for the Weekly Reader for Math pages 7-11. Tutoring is on Tuesday of each week from 4:05- 4:50 please pick up your child by 5 pm. Thank you
