Hello parents and students this week the students will take the math GMAS on Wednesday. Student have been in remediation and given math instruction with tips and reminders. Students are encouraged to do a brain dump practice for 2 minutes to help them remember concepts during their assessment. Thank you for you help in making sure that your students get a good night sleep and are reviewing their material with brain breaks in between study sessions.
Hello parents and students of the Best Middle School of the World This week we will be reviewing the review packet from Spring Break. Please use resources such as USA Test Prep, IXL, and Go Math and Worktext. Students are to bring the review packet to class everyday and have been asked to begin studying for 3 minutes everyday to help students to retain and use information for GMAS next week assessments. Please make sure that students get plenty of rest and are at school each day on time. Thank you.
Hello parents and students of the best middle in the world. This week the students are learning how to generate large and small numbers using scientific notation of the four basic operations. Students will relate scientific notation to the real world in application.
Students and parents this will be my last week for tutoring after school prior to GMAS testing. Students should be studying their ISN's to help them prepare for their math assessment in April (GMAS). The projected date is April 11, 2019 for GMAS. Please let me know if you have any questions. Students have technology to use such as GO Math, IXL, and USA Test Prep.
Hello parents and students of the Best Middle School in the World,
This week the students are about learning two way relative frequency tables. Last week we covered scatter plots and lines of best fit Students are testing for Pre-Gmas 3 for the remainder of the week. I anticipate that there will not be a planning period tutoring this week because of testing. This week after school tutoring is on Tuesday from 4:05- 5:05. Students should be studying and reviewing their ISN's for the rest of the year in preparation for GMAS.
