Hello parents and students of the best middle school in the world. Welcome back students from your winter break. Hopefully everyone had the opportunity to complete the holiday packet that is due on Monday opportunity to complete the holiday packet that is due on Monday January 8th 2018. This week is your Quarterly Benchmark assessment 2 on Thursday of this week. Student it is very important to complete all assignments in class and out of class. Afterschool is on Tuesday from 4--5-5. If students need to work on the computer for USA Test prep.
This week the students will be reviewing volume and Pythagorean theorem. Homework USA test prep assignments are due , modules expressions and equations , modules expressions and equations ,geometry and number sense 1 and 2 when we return .All students have a holiday package for math. Students must show work in order to be graded. Packets are due January 8th no no exceptions. Enjoy your holiday and be safe.
Hello parents and students of the Best Middle School in the World. This week the students will be completing a performance task on real world situations to include the Pythagorean Theorem. Students will have a choice for the scenario that they pick to illustrate and solve in mathematical context. Tuesday I am after school with students who need additional help. Students should complete the USA Test Prep Modules by December 18, 2017 for the deadline for posting grades are soon approaching. Please feel free to contact me at the school.

Hello parents and students of the Best Middle School in the World. This week I was absent on Monday. I appreciate the students who worked well with Mrs. Leon in my absence. This week we will complete two performance task. One for finding the Volume of three dimensional figures and one for Pythagorean Theorem. The students will measure and calculate the volume of a party hat, a cap, and a balloon. The second performance task will allow the students to have a choice solving real world scenarios. Tuesday is the day for after school tutoring from 4-5 pm. Students should complete USA Test Prep Expressions and Equations Modules EE.1, EE2, EE3, and EE4 which are due on Thursday of this week. Update for the Week:
Monday - Wednesday Practice with Pythagorean Theroem
Thursday USA Test Prep Lab Day- Modules are Due November 30, 2017 by the close of the period. Students have had 3 months to complete modules. The work will not be allowed to be made up after the above date. When the student do not meet the requirements student work will be marked missing.
Friday- Gear Up Field Trip to the Trade Center in Columbus- Interview process.
