Hello Parents and Students,
6th grade will continue to work on Unit 6 (Statistics) and 8th grade will continue finding slope of tables, graphs, and equations. Please encourage your child to stay for tutoring if they are having difficulty with any math concept. Math Tutorials will continue this week. 6th grade will be held on Tuesdays and 8th grade will be on Wednesdays from 4:01 to 5:01.

This week 6th grade will continue Unit 6 (Statistics) and 8th grade (Linear Models and Tables). Math tutorial will continue this week. 6th grade on Tuesdays and 8th grade on Wednesday on 4:01 to 5:01. Please pick up your child by 5:01, due to other obligation.

Week of Feb. 1-5
Hello Parents and Students,
This week 6th grade will begin Unit 6 (Statistics). In this unit we will cover mean, median, mode, and range. We will also view and analyze data looking at graphs. 8th grade will continue to review linear equations and graphs. Math tutorials will continue this week. 6th grade will be held on Tuesday and 8th grade on Wednesday from 4:01 to 5:01. Please be there to pick up your child at 5:00, due to other obligations.

Week of Jan. 25-29
This week 6th grade will continue working on Area and Volume (Unit 5). 8th grade is continuing to study linear functions and slope. Math tutorials will continue this week from 4:01 to 5:01 p.m. Please prepare to pick up your child at 5:01, due to other obligations. Please stress to your child to complete homework assignments. Students are graded on homework assignments. Homework assignments are assigned weekly.

Week of Jan. 11 - 15
This week in 6th grade we will continue studying area, volume, and surface area. In 8th grade we are reviewing functions and beginning linear functions. On Tuesday and Wednesday we will began block scheduling to allow students more instructional time to grasp concepts and skills they are having a difficult time with. This schedule will occur weekly on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
6th Grade Homework:
Students will complete an area of triangles and quadrilaterals practice sheet. Homework due Thursday, Jan. 14th.
8th Grade Homework:
Students will complete a practice sheet on functions. They will receive this sheet on Thursday and the due date Monday, Jan. 18.
