Week of Oct. 10 - 14
Hello Parents and Students,
This week we continuing to study Energy (Unit 2) We will have assessment on Wednesday on Energy. Students will receive a study guide on Monday, Oct. 10. Students are also allowed to check out their ISN (Interactive Student Notebook to study for assessment on Wednesday and help answer questions on the study guide. Tutorial will continue on Tuesday from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. Please pick your child up by 5:00p.m., due to other obligations. Thank you!

Week of Oct. 3-7
Hello Parents and Students,
We continuing to study Energy, which is Unit 2. This week we will began studying Heat transfer (conduction, convection, and radiation). Throughout the week, we will participate in labs and complete graphic organizers. Students are allowed to check out their ISN (Interactive Student Notebooks) if they need to. They must take care of it and return daily for classwork assignments.
Homework:
Monday: None
Tuesday: Draw an example of each heat transfer (conduction, convection,and radiation)
Wednesday: Draw an example of each heat transfer (conduction, convection, radiation)
Thursday: Draw an example pf each heat transfer (conduction, convection, and radiation)

Week of Sept. 26 - 30
Hello Parents and Students,
We have began Unit 2 (Energy with Potential vs. Kinetic Energy). In this unit, we will cover alikes and differences of potential and kinetic energy, energy transformations, conduction, convection, and radiation.
Tutorials are on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4:00 to 5:00 pm. Please have your child picked up by 5:00, due to other obligations.

Week of Sept. 19 - 23
Hello Parents and Students,
We are celebrating being the only secondary winner in the state of Georgia to receive the Georgia Family friendly School award on tomorrow. It is a big day for us!! Hooray!!!
Also this week, we will begin Unit 2 (Energy) Students will have access to the online textbook for Physical Science this week. There will be no homework assignments given this week.

Week of Sept. 12-15
Hello Parents and Students,
This week we are wrapping up Unit 3 Force and Motion. Students will bring their ISN's (Interactive Student Notebook) home to study for Unit 3 Test. Please make sure they bring them to school daily. Their ISN is the majority of their grade for this class. We will begin Unit 2 (Energy and their Transformations) on next week.

Complete their Contact Forces foldable (Due Friday Sept. 16th) NO EXCEPTIONS!!
