Week of Sept. 5 - 9
Hello Parents and Students,
We are studying Force and Motion (Unit 3). We will also have a quiz this week on Newton's 3 Laws of Motion. If you child is having any difficulty in Physical Science I am available on Tuesdays from 4 to 5 pm. Students have to be picked up at 5, due to other obligations.
There will be no homework this week.

Week of Aug. 29 - Sept. 2
Hello Parents and Students,
This week we are continuing to study Unit 3 (Force and Motion). There will be no textbooks being issued to every student, but there is an online textbook available to students. If there is any student having difficulty, I available after school on Tuesdays from 4:00 - 5:00pm. There will be no homework given this week.

Week of August 22-26
Hello Parents and Students,
We are off to a GREAT start. In science, we are studying Force and Motion (Unit3). We will participate in hands-on activities throughout the school year. This week we are concentrating on vocabulary to ensure they understand the concept of the experiments and activities that will be conducted. Thursday we will have class outside, participating in a relay to analyze, interpret, and calculate speed and acceleration. Please make sure

Week of May 2 - May 6
Hello Parents and Students,
For the next few weeks 8th grade will be in remediation for GMAS retake. Please encourage your child to review all previous taught standards to prepare if needed to retest.8th grade students also have a project due on May 13 that will count for 500 pts.
6th grade has choice board activities that will be due also on May 13. The choice board activities are worth 600 pts.
All make up packets for failing students will be due on May 12. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!!

Week of April 18 - 22

We are wrapping up GMAS Testing with Science and Social Studies this week. We will resume regular schedule next week. Please ensure that your child is preparing for these last test for mastery. Progress reports will go out on Tuesday, April 19th.
