Week of Jan. 30 - Feb. 3
Hello Parents and Students,
This week we will begin Block Scheduling. Academic classes will be 1hr 20 min each 5 days a week. Extending class will give students an opportunity to familarize and review standards they are struggling with. Tutoring is still held on Tuesdays from 4 to 5pm. Please pik your child up by 5:00 pm., due to other obligations. Homework packets are given weekly and due on Thursdays and Fridays, depending on the week. The packets are graded within the week and returned, where they are placed back in the folder.

Week of Jan. 17-20
Greetings Parents and Students,
We are beginning this week with States of Matter. Students will have homework weekly on topics that we discuss in class and the assignments will be graded and entered into Infinite Campus. Please ensure that your child is completing the assignments on a weekly basis. All assignments will be given in a folder and they need to be returned in that same folder weekly. Reports are issued on tomorrow. Tutoring is still offered every Tuesday from 4 to 5 p.m. Please pick up your child up by 5, due to other obligations.

Week of Dec, 19 & 20
Hello Parents and Students,
These two days we will complete QBA testing and make up missing assignments. Projects and reports should have been turned in last week.
Homework: Any missing ISN assignments and homework assignments. Grades will be finalized this week.

Week of 12/12-12/16
Hello Parents and Students,
We are reviewing Units previously taught for QBA 2. QBA 2 will be given Thursday, Dec. 15. Students will be given a study guide for review. Please ensure that your child is studying the questions. Science Fair Projects are due Monday, Dec. 12th. and research papers are due Thurs. Dec. 15th. NO EXCEPTIONS!! The projects and research papers are worth 500 pts. Students will have a hard time passing for the 2nd nine weeks i these assignments are not turned in. Tutoring will be held Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4:10 to 5:10. There will be no tutoring on Tuesday, Dec. 20th.

Week of Dec. 5 - 9
Hello Parents and Students,
We are continuing to study Waves (Unit 4). This week we are viewing Light and Color, concave and convex lenses. We will complete labs for the students to get a hands-on experience. Tutoring will only be Wednesday of this week, from 4:10 to 5:10 p.m.
Homework: Science Fair Projects are due Friday, Dec. 9th (Magnet students). Research papers are due Thursday, Dec. 15th.
