Week of April 9 - 13

Hello Parents and Students,

It's that time again! GMAS (Georgia Milestones Assessment System) Testing began today!! English  Arts Language Writing Assessment was given today. Please encourage your child to review and prepare for GMAS testing.

Homework:

Study ISN (Interactive Student Notebook), Review packets, and vocabulary to prepare for GMAS testing.

Week of April 2 - 6

Hello Parents and Students,

GMAS Testing is approaching quickly!! We are reviewing all standards through out the week to practice

 and revisit standards to make sure we reach mastery on the Georgia Milestone Assessment Systems. Students are to take the ISN's (Interactive Student Notebook) to prepare and revisit all standards taught this year. Tutoring is every Tuesday and Wednesday from 4: 00 to 5:00 p.m. Please make sure your child is picked up by 5;00, due to other obligations.

Homework:

Review all standards and activities covered this year to prepare for GMAS Testing.

Week of March 19-23

Hello Parents and Students,

8th grade have introduced and viewed all Physical Science standards. We are reviewing all standards to make sure all standards are mastered for GMAS. All students have been prepped and prepared. All students have an ISN (Interactive Student Notebook) to help prepare them  for GMAS testing. Tutorials will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.

Week of March 12-16

Hello Parents and Students,

This week we continue Mock Testing. Tuesday, 8th grade will complete Science Assessments and Thursday will be Social Studies. 8th grader will attend a field trip to CSU for Gear Up. Tutorial is cancelled on Tuesday March 13th and will resume Wednesday March 14th from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. Please have your child picked up by 5:00, due to other obligations. Please ensure that your child is preparing for GMAS (Georgia Milestone Assessment System). 

Homework:

Force In Nature Unit 5 Assessment- due Wednesday March 14th (No Exceptions)

Wave Modules 5, 6, and 7- due Friday March 16th (Students had 3 weeks to complete these modules)
