Week of Jan. 28 - Feb.1

 

Greetings,

This week we are wrapping up Unit 4 Waves. Unit Assessment on Waves will be Wednesday. Please ensure that your child is preparing for the assessment. They are allowed to check out their ISN (interactive student notebook) to study. Thursday we will began Unit 3 (Force and Motion). Tutorials are on Thursdays from 4:01 to 5:01 p.m. Please pick your child up by 5:00, due to other obligations.

Homework:

Waves modules 1-7 are due Feb. 15th. Students are welcome to stay after school on Thursday to work on modules.

Week of Jan. 21 - 25

We are finishing up Pre-GMAS Testing (QBA 2) this week. We are going to review QBA testing this week for review standards if difficulty.

Tutorial will be this Thursday from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. Please ensure that you pick up your child by 5:00 p.m., due to other obligations.

Week of Jan. 14 - 18

Hello Parents and Students,

We are studying Waves and Energy for Pre-GMAS 1 (QBA 2)  Assessment this week. Pre-GMAS Assessment will be given Thursday January 17th. Please ensure that your child is reviewing notes from their ISN's (Interactive Student Notebook). Students were required to checkout their ISN on today and utilize them for the assessment.

We are finishing up our district lesson (Close and Purposeful Reading). We are also reviewing Unit 2 standard and elements for Unit 2 Assessment. Law of Conservation of Energy Modules are due Wed, Dec. 19th. They have had 3 weeks to complete these modules.

Week of December 10 - 14

Hello Parents and Students,

We are completing our Close and Purposeful Reading this week on Energy Transformation. Please ensure that your child is reviewing and preparing for Unit 2 Assessment (Energy and Energy Transformation). Students are allowed to check out their ISN's (Interactive Student Notebook) at  anytime just make sure they check them out.We are diligently working to make  sure every student performs at the level of Proficient and Distinguished on the GMAS.
