Hello Parents and Students,
We are Pre- GMAS Testing this week to give students a trial runof how the GMAS schedule will roll out. Please ensure that students are preparing for GMAS to master or exceed the standards. Tutorial will be held Tuesday March 12th from 4:01 - 5:15 p.m. My students were instructed to take their ISN's (Interactive Student Notebook) home daily to help them prepare for GMAS.

Week of March 4-8
Hello Parents and Students,
We are wrapping up Unit 5 Force In Nature this week. We are a Close Purposeful Reading In Science District Lesson this week. Students should be studying their ISN (Interactive Student Notebook) and using usatestprep to prep for the GMAS (Georgia Milestone Assessment System). They also need to utilize ixl.com to review math and science skills. We will began Pre-GMAS Testing March 11- 15, where they will be meeting their testing teacher.
Homework:
Force, Mass and Motion Modules (due March 22nd). NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!

Week of Feb. 25-Mar. 1
Hello Parents and Students,
We are beginning Unit 5 (Gravity, Electricity, and Magnetism) this week. This is our last unit for the year before GMAS (Georgia Milestone Assessment Systems). Please ensure that your child is constantly preparing for GMAS testing. Usatestprep.com and IXL.com are great tools to help prepare to master the standards as well as their ISN (Interactive Student Notebook). Tutorials will be weekly from 4:01 to 5:01 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, unless an announced cancellation.

Week of Feb. 18 - 22
Hello Parents and Students,
We are wrapping up Unit 3 (Force, Mass, and Motion) this week. We are scheduled to complete Unit 3 Assessment on Thursday. Students are encouraged to use usatestprep and their Interactive Student Notebook as resources to help prepare them to master the standard. Tutorials will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. Please have your child picked up by 5:00, due to other obligations.

Week of February 4- 8
Greeting Parents and Students,
This week we are beginning Unit 3 (Force and Motion). We will began with a pre test and move on to vocabulary. Wave modules are due Feb. 15th. (NO EXCEPTIONS). Please make sure your child is completing them. They also have an opportunity to work on them after school on Thursday of this week. Tutorial will be Thursday Feb. 7th.
