At Home:

Students should follow up/finish and secure their notes from today's grade 6 review:  Forces of Nature- Motion.  These are former 6th grade topics that you need to know both in advance of "Changing New England" and for MCAS preparation.   If you missed any of it or still feel like you cannot remember from so long ago, watch the video again at pbs.org and/or look up the topics provided in class.  http://www.pbs.org/program/forces-nature/.  Also, don't forget to check out YouTube videos on various topics @ Just Donna Glynn.

October 3-5:

Before Thursday:   All coloring, taping, gluing, trimming, titles & dates, and TOC should be complete!   THIS should always be done at home - make your ISN look good!

Before Friday:

  • Read page 1 of your STEM booklet - sign the agreement.
  • Parent/Guardian read page 2 of your STEM booklet - sign the agreement.
  • Record 3 areas of personal interest in your STEM booklet.  These are brainstormed ideas that you should write in the margins somewhere, we are not yet filling in the pages.

Don't forget!  Anything no completed in class is expected to be done at home.  That includes securing everything into your notebook.  There will not be time in class to tidy up from previous days' work.
