Updates: Homework, etc. You may not have written assignments every day, but you DO have science homework every night! Remember, you are almost in high school. Establish your daily routines now!
HW006: Wicked Weather Title Page - page 43, no later than this Friday,
HW007: DiCaprio rough draft no later than Monday, 12 Dec 16.
Things to do every day:
- Check your calendar. Do you have anything due? Schedule time to work on science (yes, write it down). Check your Aspen/new.schoolnotes.com.
- Check YouTube.com playlist for Wicked Weather.
- Watch the weather forecast at least once/day.
- Watch the Weather Channel on tv or online.
- Check CK12. Have you read any of the content associated with our unit? Tried any activities?
- 5 steps to your ISN every day:
- Make a big title on the page with the date. Every page needs a title, date, page number. EVERY SINGLE TIME!
- Complete the activities in class or at home - nothing is to remain incomplete.
- Add color, preferably 3 colors per page if not more.
- Secure papers to the proper pages in your notebook. Unless you are handing it back to me for credit, it must be secured. NO LOOSE PAPERS. NO FOLDER.
- Add each assignment to the Table of Contents.
- Do these things every day and you will never get behind. It takes 5 minutes. You could even do it during homebase!
The main topic/question we will be addressing for Unit 2 is: What role does the ocean play in weather, climate, and climate change?
Put this in a yellow lightbulb cut out on page 47. Add a title and date, add to your TOC!
Welcome to term 2 and Unit 2: Wicked Weather!
HW006: Complete full colored collage on page 43 for your title page to Wicked Weather, no later than Friday.
