Today in class/HOMEWORK:
1) "Lizzy" video (actually, Meredith!) This goes with page 12 in your STEM booklet.
2) CER on your ISN! Start in class, finish at home no later than MONDAY for Midterm Grades. This is an assessment. Do you best work! Use the half sheet CER template to plan (like a rough draft). Then complete the assessment with a final draft on white lined paper. This should include at least two claims and two reasonings with as much evidence as you need to back up your claims.
Today's work, p. 64: El Nino and La Nina (ENSO CYCLES).
Expectation: know the difference, understand energy, ocean impacts
Sponge Bob homework for STEM fair, pages 11-12, due no later than Friday.
WATCH IT: watch again if you do not know how hurricanes form
RESEARCH IT: Use the hurricane simulator here.
ILLUSTRATE IT: Understand our history with hurricanes and how to represent it.
